PeerEdvice's AI-powered algorithm will generate a list of suggested mentors best suited to your needs. You can schedule a session with any of the recommended mentors or browse our extensive directory using targeted filters. Each mentor profile includes details about their background, availability, and rates. Remember, the more information you provide in your profile, the more accurate your mentor matches will be. You can update your profile anytime.
2. Easy Scheduling
PeerEdvice's platform allows you to effortlessly schedule a 15-minute complimentary Introduction session and well as tailored sessions with your mentor. Our Google Calendar integration facilitates a seamless and easy to schedule video conference meeting, fostering face-to-face interaction with your selected mentor. Once you've found the perfect mentor, schedule future sessions at your convenience, leveraging Google Calendar to optimize your schedule and maximize the value of your mentorship experience.
3. Video Conferencing
Web-based video conferencing tools, such as Google Meet, enable seamless scheduling of meetings between students and mentors, transcending geographical barriers. This accessibility fosters a personalized experience, allowing for face-to-face interaction, and efficient sharing of resources. PeerEdvice leverages Google Meet's user-friendly interface and reliable video and audio quality to ensure a seamless and productive connection, promoting an engaging and effective mentoring experience. Scheduling is made easier with Google Calendar and face to face interactions with Google Meet!
4. Document Sharing

What to Expect During a Session
You and your mentor will decide how to use your session time. These sessions are designed to focus on specific areas of the college application process. For example, you might work on essay writing, creating a list of schools to apply to, or discussing campus culture.
Remember that you and your mentor will agree on what you need help with and how to make the best use of your time together.

Payment
Unlike traditional platforms, PeerEdvice provides complete flexibility - there are no subscriptions, no contracts, and no commitments. The platform’s payment structure is straightforward and accessible to all, allowing our student applicants the flexibility to engage with any mentor(s) as needed without the pressure of long-term obligations. Applicants can choose to have as many or as few sessions as you like, with no minimum session requirements.
PeerEdvice operates on a commission structure, ensuring that you receive affordable support while still benefiting from high-quality peer mentorship. This approach allows you to pay only for the mentorship you need while maintaining control over your budget and schedule, making it easier to access the guidance you need when you need it most.
You can choose to pay via Paypal, or Stripe using your credit card or direct bank transfer or Venmo. All payments are processed securely through PayPal, Venmo or Stripe, ensuring fast and secure transactions. Both Paypal and Stripe gateways support credit card, debit card, bank ACH transactions, Apple Pay and more. All card and bank details are stored directly with these payment gateways when you make a payment and are never shared with PeerEdvice, offering you maximum security and peace of mind.
